Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to the Income Tax Calculator website, its salary calculator, tax guides, tables, data files and related features. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The website owner may update the terms when features, law or operating arrangements change.
Purpose of the service
Income Tax Calculator provides independent educational estimates for Pakistan salary income tax. The current calculator supports FY 2026-27 and FY 2025-26, shows annual and monthly figures and offers a multi-period planning feature for supported dates. The service is intended to help users understand tax slabs, compare fiscal years and estimate take-home salary.
The service is not a tax return filing platform, payroll bureau, accounting engagement, legal service or government portal. It does not create a professional-client relationship. Results are generated from information entered by the user and standard formulas coded into the website.
No official affiliation
Income Tax Calculator is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by the Federal Board of Revenue, the Government of Pakistan or any other public authority. References to FBR, Finance Acts, tax years and official documents are provided for identification and research. The website must not be represented as an official FBR income tax calculator.
Educational estimate, not advice
Calculator results and written content are general information, not legal, tax, accounting, investment or payroll advice. They do not consider every exemption, deduction, credit, residence issue, source of income, employment arrangement or later amendment. Users are responsible for obtaining professional advice when a decision is important, complex or disputed.
User responsibility for inputs
You are responsible for entering the correct fiscal year and accurate gross taxable salary. Do not enter net salary when the calculator asks for taxable salary. Do not add a bonus twice. Do not combine rental income, business profit, capital gains or other non-salary income with salary unless you have confirmed that treatment under the applicable law.
You are also responsible for checking whether allowances, reimbursements, benefits and employer contributions are taxable. The calculator cannot determine legal classification from a numeric amount. Results based on incorrect or incomplete inputs will also be incorrect or incomplete.
Calculation limitations
The calculator applies the standard salaried-person slab for the selected year and the programmed surcharge rule. Monthly tax is generally presented as annual tax divided by twelve. An employer's actual monthly withholding can differ because of bonuses, increments, joining or leaving dates, previous employment, tax credits, exemptions, rounding and payroll reconciliation.
The multi-period feature estimates salary by covered days and applies supported fiscal-year formulas. It is a planning tool. It does not establish when income is legally received, how a return should allocate an amount or whether an employer has complied with withholding duties.
Sources and changes in law
The website aims to use published Finance Act and FBR material, but tax law can be amended, corrected, interpreted or replaced. There can be a delay between an official change and a website update. Users must verify current law before relying on a result, especially after a new budget, Finance Act, circular, court decision or notification.
Permitted use
You may use the public calculator for personal planning, education, salary comparison and reasonable internal business review. You may quote small portions of original explanatory content with clear attribution and a link to the relevant page where lawful. You may share a calculator result, but you should explain that it is an estimate.
Prohibited use
- Do not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive activity.
- Do not attempt to bypass security controls, disrupt hosting or inject malicious code.
- Do not overload the service with automated requests that impair access for others.
- Do not copy the complete website, branding or substantial original content and present it as your own.

Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, original explanations, code arrangement, brand elements and compiled materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Official legislation, government documents and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Linking to an official source does not transfer ownership or imply endorsement.
Third-party websites
The website may link to FBR, official PDFs and other external resources. External websites have their own terms, privacy practices, availability and content. Income Tax Calculator does not control them and is not responsible for loss arising from their use. Users should verify the destination domain before downloading a document or entering information.
Availability and changes to the service
The website may be changed, suspended or discontinued without notice. Features can be added, removed or corrected. Hosting outages, maintenance, network failures, browser incompatibility and events outside the owner's control can interrupt access. No promise is made that the service will always be available or error free.
No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No warranty is made about accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted access or the exact result that an employer, adviser or tax authority will reach.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the service. This includes loss caused by an incorrect input, outdated rate, payroll difference, missed filing obligation, external link, hosting outage or reliance on an educational estimate. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, loss or expense arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these terms or false representation that the service is official or professionally endorsed.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains browser-based calculation, technical logs, cookies, third-party links and data choices. The calculator does not need a name, CNIC, bank information or password. Users should not place personal information into numeric salary fields.
Severability and waiver
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Governing considerations
The website is focused on Pakistan tax information. The applicable law and forum for a particular dispute can depend on the website owner's legal establishment, the user's location and mandatory consumer or data protection rules. These terms do not attempt to override rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Changes to these terms
Revised terms may be published on this page with an updated date. Users should review the page periodically. Continued use after publication of revised terms indicates use under the updated version, subject to applicable law.
Automated access and AI systems
Reasonable indexing by ordinary search engines and compatible agents is permitted when it respects robots.txt, server capacity and applicable law. Automated systems must not misrepresent calculator estimates as official FBR decisions, remove the disclaimer or attribute the website to a government authority. Bulk extraction, republishing or model-training use may require permission when it copies protected original content beyond lawful limits. Machine-readable files are provided for clarity, not as a warranty of completeness or a licence to misuse the service.
